The National Code of Practice (NCOP) given under the Driven Machinery Regulation in the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993 provide clarity and direction to all stakeholders directly or indirectly related to the accreditation and provision of training to lifting machine/ equipment operators in South Africa.

Occupational Health & Safety Training (ohst) provides SAQA unit standard approved training for lifting machinery course. Occupational Health & Safety Training (ohst) has further accreditation with the Department of Labour (DOL).

Course Objective The course explains the requirements of operating a Overhead Crane. Also ensures a high level training on both theory and practical training on the operations of the Overhead Crane.
